Après un Internat en Pathologie Clinique (2000-2005) à l’Hôpital « Spedali Civili di Brescia », Italie et un Doctorat en pathologie et génétique médicale (2006-2009) de la Faculté de médecine, Université de Pavie (Italie) le Dr. Rossi a développé une large expérience en recherche comme chercheur contractuel au « Consejo Superior de Investigacion Cientifica – CSIC » à Madrid en Espagne (2010-2016), puis à la « Harvard Medical School – Children’s Hospital », à Boston (USA) et à « l’Université de Salamanque », Salamanque (Espagne). Elle a rejoint en 2016 l’unité Inserm UMRS1140 – Innovations Thérapeutiques en Hémostase, Faculté de Pharmacie – Université Paris Descartes. Grâce à son expertise en pathologie et sur l’angiogenèse, elle a intégré le groupe du Pr. David Smadja en y apportant une thématique en lien entre l’aspect cellulaire des vaisseaux et l’hémostase. Actuellement, son projet de recherche consiste à étudier les fonctions d’une glycoprotéine de membrane, l’endogline (alias CD105) dans les progéniteurs endothéliaux (ECFC : endothelial colonis forming cells) ainsi que son rôle dans l’hémostase primaire.
Auteure de plus de 55 publications dans PubMed, elle a encadré des étudiants de M1, M2 et des thèses de Doctorat dans différents pays et dans plusieurs langues et a présenté ses recherches dans de nombreux congrès internationaux. Récemment, elle a obtenu un prix au « HHT International Scientific Conference » (2017).
